Wassail Soy Candle

I knew what mulled wine was long before I knew what Wassail was because it’s a drink that my family served up every winter. A gallon jug of red wine plus whatever juices, fruits and spices were on hand, heated and stirred over low heat until the whole house smelled like a boozy, fruity, festive hug. I loved it before I ever drank it! Now that I no longer drink, I find extra enjoyment in recreating this scent as a way to continue to enjoy it, without the hangover.

Fruit forward and fun, Wassail starts with top notes of red wine and fresh apple, followed by middle notes of orange, lemon, cinnamon, and cranberry, before mellowing out into a base of wood reminiscent of an oak wine cask. Bright, sophisticated, and 100% seasonal, Wassail creates a timeless, festive environment equally perfect for entertaining as it is a walk down memory lane.

Our 4 oz soy candles burn for 25+ hours, 8 oz for 45+ hours, and 12 oz for 80+ hours with proper care (see below).

Made with pure soy wax, paper woven cotton wicks, and phthalate and prop 65 free fragrance oils. This is a Clean Plus candle.

Candle Care: For best results, keep the wick trimmed and burn in 4-hour intervals or at least until the melted wax reaches the edge of the glass before extinguishing (2-3 hours – the first burn will take the longest). Light your candle without trimming the wick for the first burn and then trim to 1/8–1/4 inch between uses or while burning if necessary to maintain a small, steady flame. If the flame exceeds 1 inch tall, blow out, trim, and relight.  Burning a candle for too little time will cause “tunneling” and burning for too long (without trimming) is dangerous. Never burn a candle unattended or overnight to avoid overheating or cracking the jar.
